Companies are investing in SDDC technologies and strategies to increase the speed of service delivery, reduce overhead costs, simplify management and offer a business-focused approach to IT.
“The software-defined data center can offer significant flexibility and agility to enterprise data centers, but many companies are hindered by a lack of expertise and technology integration issues,” says Brian Cohen, CEO of StrataCloud. “Our R&D efforts are focused on providing our customers the ability to deploy software-defined data center architectures quickly, while reducing complexity and cost through automation. We’re very pleased to present our thoughts on the future of IT infrastructure at this preeminent Atlanta entrepreneurship event.”
Now entering its 14th year, Venture Atlanta has helped local companies raise more than $1.4 billion – a number that continues to grow. Last year’s event fostered more than 250 meetings between investors and Venture Atlanta presenting companies during the conference alone, as well as in influx of capital, contributing to 2014 as the year of the most venture investment in Georgia in more than a decade. According to the MoneyTree report based on data from Thomson Reuters, Georgia companies raised $188.6 million in venture capital in the first quarter.
